If you see “We can’t find your credit report right now”, we haven’t been able to match you to a credit report with illion, our credit reporting partner, yet.
You may be new to credit or New Zealand, have limited credit history, or have personal details that differ from the information held about you.
What can I do?
Start with Review your details on your home-screen checklist. Check your name, date of birth and address information against the details on your financial accounts.
If something is incorrect, or you can’t update it yourself, contact us through the Help Centre. Some details may be locked after identity verification.
Will ClearScore check again?
We’ll keep checking for a matching credit file and let you know when we find one. Information can take time to become available, so we can’t guarantee when your report will appear.
Once a file is found, follow the instructions in your account to access your score and report.
Can I still use ClearScore?
You can continue using the features available in your account, including fraud-protection tools, Credit Health information and educational articles and videos.
The checklist also provides information about how credit works in New Zealand, options for getting started and things to consider before applying for credit.
Completing checklist items doesn’t automatically create a credit report or guarantee a score.
What if I believe a report should already be available?
Contact us through the Help Centre. Tell us which message you’re seeing and whether you already have a report from a credit reporting agency, so we can investigate the matching issue.
