Check out your insights
'Insights' section to see what could be affecting your credit report and score. They also give you tips on what to improve and tell you the things you're doing well.
If you don't see insights yet, that's ok. Below are main actions you can focus on to improve your score.
Manage your debt responsibly
Lenders like to see you’re able to manage your finances sensibly and you aren’t relying on credit alone.
Build your credit history, if you don’t have one
The easiest way to do this is by getting and using a credit card. Try to spend a small amount every month and pay it back in full by setting up a Direct Debit.
Keep your information up to date
If there's something that doesn't look right or is missing from your report, you'll need to get this fixed. Try getting in touch with the bank or lender first and allow a few weeks for this to come through to us.
If after 6 weeks the information hasn’t updated on your credit report, you can raise a dispute via our contact form.
